CALL FOR DANCERS TO AUDITION FOR

SABOR MEXICO THEATRICAL DANCE COMPANY

Seeking: Male and female dancers with folklorico or flamenco experience. Ballet or modern dance background desirable. We encourage dancers of all ethnic and folk disciplines to audition.

Description: Call For Dancers to audition for Sabor Mexico Theatrical Dance Company (SMTDC) - the foremost dance interpreter of Mexican culture in greater Houston which was founded August 2005 by Artistic Director Patricia Astorga and Assistant Artistic Director Adriana Figueroa Jones. SMTDCs innovative repertory fuses ballet, modern and Latin dance forms into a dynamic balance of Mexican -American culture past and present. The mission of SMTDC is to preserve inspirational and distinctive dance works that are rooted in rich Mexican heritage and seeks to further impart a cultural and educational theatrical experience for audiences broadly.
